One of the newest additions to the family the Lincolnshire flag was chosen in a competition by BBC Radio Lincolnshire and the Magazine Lincolnshire life in August 2005. It has a cross, so popular with county flags with a small fleur de lys in the centre. The Fleur de lys symbolises the city of Lincoln whilst the green and blue represents the fields and the sea. I am not sure where Skegness is represented on the flag! |
